Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY) and the visiting South Bison (Cheyenne, WY), witnessed Campbell County's softball squad prevail over South by a count of 11-1.

The Camels now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Laramie for a 4A East match on Saturday, April 6. Campbell County will meet a Plainsmen squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, South moves to 0-6 on the season. The Bison travel to Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY) to meet the Bolts in a 4A East match on Saturday, April 6. The Bolts go into the match with a record of 8-1. Thunder Basin won 12-6 in their recent non-league match against Laramie (Laramie, WY)
