The Walnut Ridge Bobcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Cave City Cavemen to 3 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Walnut Ridge moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 game on Monday, April 8. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-8. Tuckerman lost 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR)
