Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield Timberview for a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Saturday, April 6. Centennial will face a Wolves squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Mansfield Summit falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX) to face the Jaguars in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 14-12. Midlothian Heritage lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Burleson, TX)
