Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Davies Career & Tech for a Division 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11.

With the loss, Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI) to battle the Patriots in a Division 3 challenge on Monday, April 8. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Davies Career & Tech lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Shea (Pawtucket, RI)
