Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Marauders now own a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they host Plano West for a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Monday, April 8. Marcus will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 20-7.

With the loss, Coppell falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Plano East (Plano, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Monday, April 8. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 14-15. Plano East lost 11-6 in their recent league challenge against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
