Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Americas for a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 6. Pebble Hills will battle a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 12-17.

With the loss, Coronado falls to 8-19 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to battle the Troopers in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Troopers enter the challenge with a record of 24-6. Eastwood won 9-0 in their recent league challenge against El Dorado (El Paso, TX)
