The The Colony Cougars softball team (The Colony, TX), was routed 19-8 in Friday's league test with the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX)

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 test, on Tuesday, April 9. Creekview will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Raccoons enter the test with a 5-17 record after their 4-1 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).

The Cougars (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 8-20 record. In their last test, Newman Smith was routed by Reedy (Frisco, TX), 10-0, in a league test.
