Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hitchcock for a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Danbury will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Hempstead falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-10.
