First Coast Christian Knights (Jacksonville, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hope Christian Academy Lions (Starke, FL), 23-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle's View for a 2A District 2 challenge on Monday, April 8. First Coast Christian will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Hope Christian Academy falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Southside Christian (Waycross, GA) to battle the Patriots in a Southeastern Christian challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
