Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Licking Heights Hornets (Pataskala, OH), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Aces now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckeye Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Granville will face a Barons squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Whitehall-Yearling (Whitehall, OH). The Barons record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Licking Heights falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host New Albany (New Albany, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. New Albany lost 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH)
