Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX), 13-6 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Dallas for a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Grapevine will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Ryan (Denton, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Ryan falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Denton (Denton, TX) to battle the Broncos in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 7-15.
