The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL) and the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), saw Hale County's softball squad achieve victory over South Lamar by a count of 10-1.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordo for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. Hale County will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Northside (Northport, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, South Lamar falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Lamar County (Vernon, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 13-12. Lamar County won 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL)
