The crowd at Friday's league match between the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) and the visiting Humble Wildcats (Humble, TX), saw West Brook's softball squad nip Humble by a count of 11-8.

The Bruins now sport a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Shore for a 6A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, April 9. West Brook will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Humble falls to 6-23 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Atascocita (Humble, TX) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 13-13. Atascocita won 20-0 in their recent league match against Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX)
