Spectators at Friday's league match between the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) and the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), witnessed Judson's softball squad tip San Marcos by a count of 9-2.

The Rockets now sport a 10-17 record. They play next when they host Steele for a 6A Region IV District 27 match on Friday, April 12. Judson will meet a Knights squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, San Marcos moves to 10-16 on the season. The Rattlers host New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to meet the Unicorns in a 6A Region IV District 27 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Unicorns go into the match with a record of 21-7. New Braunfels won 7-2 in their recent league match against Clemens (Schertz, TX)
