The Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Avondale, LA) softball routed the host Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), 17-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Lions go into the 3A District 9 bout with a 1-11 record. In their last bout, Ursuline Academy was routed by Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA), 18-2, in a non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Abramson for a non-league bout on Monday, April 8.
