Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Winona Wildcats (Winona, MO), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thayer for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15.

With the loss, Winona falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Eminence (Eminence, MO) to face the Redwings in a Class 1 District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Redwings enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Eminence lost 22-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Van Buren (Van Buren, MO)
