The crowd at Friday's league match between the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) and the host Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), saw Midlothian's softball squad achieve victory over Seguin by a count of 13-1.

The Panthers now sport a 21-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cleburne for a 5A Region I District 8 match on Saturday, April 6. Midlothian will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-16.

With the loss, Seguin falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Burleson (Burleson, TX) to face the Elks in a 5A Region I District 8 match on Saturday, April 6. The Elks enter the match with a record of 8-9. Burleson won 15-0 in their recent league match against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
