The South Vermillion Wildcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting North Vermillion Falcons to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Vermillion moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a Wabash River game on Saturday, April 6. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-0. Riverton Parke won 20-0 in their recent league game against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Seeger Patriots (West Lebanon, IN) in a Wabash River game, on Tuesday, April 9. North Vermillion will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN).
