Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they host Vela for a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will battle a Sabercats squad coming off a 17-16 league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Sabercats record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Javelinas travel to McAllen (McAllen, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. McAllen won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX)
