The Sulphur Springs Wildcats routed the host Pittsburg Pirates softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Wildcats (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region II District 15 battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, North Lamar notched a victory over Paris (Paris, TX), 17-1, in a league battle.

The Pirates now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a 4A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, April 9. Pittsburg will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 9-10.
