Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX), 23-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they host Odem for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Sinton will face a Owls squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Owls record now stands at 8-16.

With the loss, West Oso falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX) to face the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Rockport-Fulton lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Sinton (Sinton, TX)
