The Taylorsville Tartars softball team (Taylorsville, MS), was routed 20-3 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS)
Coming up next, the Braves clash with the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) in a 5A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, April 9. South Jones will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Sumrall (Sumrall, MS).
The Tartars (1-21) will now prepare for their test against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Gators come into the 1A Region 7 test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Leake County was routed by Newton (Newton, MS), 23-6, in a non-league test.
