Rhode Island High School Baseball - Barrington holds off Mt. Hope

The Barrington Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Mt. Hope Huskies to 3 in the Eagles league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westerly for a Division 1 test on Tuesday, April 8. Barrington will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Mt. Hope drops to 1-3 on the year. The Huskies host North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to play the Skippers in a Division 1 test on Thursday, April 10. The Skippers go into the test with a record of 3-0. North Kingstown won 10-0 in their recent league test against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI)
