With the triumph, DeMatha advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Stags host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to battle the Eagles in a Washington Catholic match on Monday, April 7. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 9-5. Gonzaga won 12-3 in their recent league match against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)

The Mustangs now have a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a Washington Catholic match on Tuesday, April 8. Bishop McNamara will battle a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 9-4.
