In Saturday's non-league bout, the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) baseball squad nipped the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 4-3.
Next up, the Indians encounter the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 7. Cobre will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Fighting Colts enter the bout with a 4-7 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Cobre (Bayard, NM).
