The Lincoln Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Elkins Tigers to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Robert C. Byrd for a Big Ten test on Tuesday, April 8. Lincoln will play a Eagles team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
