In Saturday's league bout, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), by a tally of 12-3.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Monday, April 7. Gonzaga will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Stags enter the bout with a 12-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
The Falcons (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Wolves enter the non-league bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic was overwhelmed by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 15-2, in a non-league bout.
