With the triumph, Homewood advances its record to 21-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Minor (Adamsville, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Area 9 match on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 5-18. Minor lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Shelby County (Columbiana, AL)

The Mounties now have a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson-Olin for a non-league match on Monday, April 7. Shades Valley will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-15.
