In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Phil Campbell Bobcats baseball team scored a close 11-4 win over the Lamar County Bulldogs.
The Bobcats (15-10) will now prepare for their game against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats go into the 3A Area 14 game with a 12-14 record.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Lamar County will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 15-6 record after their 19-7 non-league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, AL).
