North Carolina High School Baseball - Mount Airy edges North Stokes

April 5, 2025: Mount Airy, NC 27030

The Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) baseball the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 5-3 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Granite Bears now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Ashe County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. Mount Airy will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 9-8.

With the defeat, North Stokes drops to 12-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. East Wilkes won 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Avery County (Newland, NC)
