Alabama High School Baseball - New Hope edges Sipsey Valley

In Saturday's non-league game, the host New Hope Indians baseball team scored a close 7-4 victory over the Sipsey Valley Bears.
The Indians (12-12) will now prepare for their game against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers enter the 4A Area 16 game with a 17-2 record. In their last game, Madison County held off Ardmore (Ardmore, AL), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears face the Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) in a 5A Area 9 game, on Tuesday, April 8. Sipsey Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-19 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL).
