In Saturday's league bout, the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) baseball squad the visiting Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO), by a tally of 4-2.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a 4A Western Slope bout, on Saturday, April 5. Rifle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Sailors enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO).
