The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) and the visiting West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), saw South Plaquemines's baseball team gain a win over West St. John by a tally of 6-4.
The Hurricanes (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Booker T. Washington by Salmen (Slidell, LA), 20-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rams face the Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 8. West St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 10-12 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Holden (Holden, LA).
