In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Marist RedHawks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mira Costa Mustangs.

The RedHawks (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Joliet Catholic was nudged by Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Mira Costa will attempt to upgrade on its 27-2 season record.
