In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Palisades Dolphins volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Venice Gondoliers.

The Dolphins (20-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions come into the Western challenge with a 17-12 record. In their last challenge, Fairfax edged Wilson (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gondoliers meet the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Monday, April 7. Venice will attempt to upgrade on its 24-4 season record. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Westchester (Los Angeles, CA).
