In Saturday's non-league contest, the host New Egypt Warriors lacrosse squad scored a good 16-1 triumph over the Long Branch Green Wave.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lacey Township was overwhelmed by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 18-17, in a league contest.

Next, the Green Wave meet the Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) in a Shore - Independence contest, on Tuesday, April 8. Long Branch will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Scarlet Fliers go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ).
