California High School Softball - McClatchy edges Bella Vista

The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) softball the visiting Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA), 4-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Campus for a non-league outing on Monday, April 7. McClatchy will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 15-3 league win over Burbank (Sacramento, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Bella Vista moves to 7-8 on the season. The Broncos host Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to encounter the Bruins in a Capital Valley Conference outing on Monday, April 7. The Bruins come into the outing with a record of 5-8. Ponderosa lost 12-2 in their recent non-league outing against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA)
