Oregon High School Softball - North Medford edges Bend

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting North Medford Black Tornado softball team scored a tight 9-7 win over the Bend Lava Bears.
The Black Tornado (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Indians come into the 6A Southwest match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Roseburg nipped South Medford (Medford, OR), 12-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Lava Bears battle the West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. Bend will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Ridgeview (Redmond, OR).
