The Century Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winona for a Big 9 battle on Monday, April 7. Century will encounter a Winhawks team coming off a 8-3 league win over Austin (Austin, MN). The Winhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Sauk Rapids-Rice moves to 0-4 on the season. The Storm travel to Mayo (Rochester, MN) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
