California High School Softball - Mission Viejo sneaks past Esperanza

The Mission Viejo Diablos softball team scored 2 runs and held the host Esperanza Aztecs to 1 in the Diablos non-league win on Saturday.
The Diablos now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tesoro for a South Coast battle on Tuesday, April 8. Mission Viejo will confront a Titans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Titans record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Esperanza moves to 6-12 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA) to confront the Mariners in a Crestview battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 11-7. Pacifica won 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against Agoura (Agoura, CA)
