The North Kansas City Hornets got by the visiting Fort Osage Indians baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Park for a Class 6 District 8 bout on Friday, April 8. North Kansas City will face a Northmen team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO). The Northmen record now stands at 10-4.
Next, the Indians face the Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) in a Class 6 District 7 bout, on Thursday, April 7. Fort Osage will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
