The Haynesville Golden Tornado baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Homer Pelicans to 3 in the Golden Tornado league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Tornado (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Arcadia (Arcadia, LA). The Hornets go into the 1A District 1 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Arcadia was overwhelmed by Homer (Homer, LA), 4-3, in a league match.

The Pelicans (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA). The Lions go into the 1A District 1 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Plain Dealing ran past Ringgold (Ringgold, LA), 13-3, in a league match.
