Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hopewell gets by Mohawk Area

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) and the host Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA), saw Hopewell's baseball squad knock off Mohawk Area by a count of 5-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 battle, on Monday, April 11. Hopewell will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 6-3 league win over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA).

The Warriors now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neshannock for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 7. Mohawk Area will play a Lancers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-3.
