The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) and the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), saw Ridgefield's volleyball squad beat Staples by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Farmington (Farmington, CT) to play the River Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, April 8. The River Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Farmington lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Conard (West Hartford, CT)

The Wreckers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Glastonbury for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 13. Staples will play a Tomahawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT). The Tomahawks record now stands at 3-0.
