The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), saw Southwest SD's volleyball squad beat Steele Canyon by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Southwest SD upgrades its record to 6-15 on the year. The Raiders host Sweetwater (National City, CA) to play the Red Devils in a Metro South Bay bout on Thursday, April 7. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Sweetwater lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA)

The Cougars now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they host Granite Hills for a Grossmont Valley bout on Monday, April 18.
