The Pinecrest Patriots smashed the host Union Pines Vikings soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Wednesday's league match.
The Patriots now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Richmond for a Sandhills 3A/4A match on Tuesday, April 12. Pinecrest will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Union Pines drops to 6-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, April 7. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 6-8. Terry Sanford won 3-2 in their recent league match against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
