In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Gretna Hawks baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Chatham Cavaliers.
The Hawks (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Dan River was overwhelmed by Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 12-2, in a non-league game.
The Cavaliers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
