The Discovery Canyon Thunder baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Palmer Ridge Bears to 9 in the Thunder league victory on Wednesday.
The Thunder (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Rampart was overwhelmed by Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO), 8-7, in a non-league match.
The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lancers go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Liberty was overwhelmed by Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 19-0, in a non-league match.
