In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Franklin Knights baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Girard Yellowjackets.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats go into the game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Northwestern was overwhelmed by Titusville (Titusville, PA), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Yellowjackets (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Seneca (Erie, PA). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Seneca was overwhelmed by Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
