In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Southside Christian Sabres soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights.
The Sabres (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dixie (Due West, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 1 battle with a 12-3 record.
The Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC). The Bengal enter the AA Region 2 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Brashier Middle College Charter tipped Landrum (Landrum, SC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
